Update this morning: no one is understanding what’s going on with the right side, PT says he presents as a stroke patient but has not had one…
Update on dad(Ronald Matthews): He is progressing. They were able to sit him up on the bedside and he sit upright on his own without leaning over. His right side is still pretty immobile and when he does lift his leg a little it shoots sharps pains. He cant move foot or toes yet on that side. He is feeding himself with left hand and does pretty good considering it’s not his dominant hand. He is talking a lot more, comprehending better, and storing new memories somewhat. His vision is still blurry so he can only make out certain images out but they did MRI which didn’t show any signs of a stroke. The brain bleeds are the same in the same spots but have not grown any larger. As of now the plan is to transfer him tomorrow to encompass in Princeton. Blood pressure is staying on the higher end but better than it has been since med adjustment and blood sugar is not doing too well, staying in the 200s.
