LLAB 7 is in the books! BC and BCL cadets began the week with midterm evaluations, drill instruction, and instructional GLPs (Group Leadership Projects), reinforcing the fundamentals and warrior knowledge. Training then shifted to dynamic, problem-solving GLPs focused on crisis response planning and team-based leadership challenges.

Halfway through the semester! Great work, Det 160! Aim High!✈️

Over the weekend, Cadet Potter represented Detachment 160 at the National Character and Leadership Symposium. NCLS is a premier leadership forum where distinguished speakers share experiences that inspire purposeful, character-driven leadership. On her downtime, she was able to explore the Colorado culture. We are proud of you, C/Potter, and look forward to your continued leadership at Detachment 160!

The Flying Bulldogs built upon their training during LLAB 6 with a strong emphasis on discipline, cohesion, and expeditionary readiness. BC and BCL cadets came together for squadron marching, reinforcing drill fundamentals and teamwork. They also sharpened their skills through hands-on training in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), UXO/IED awareness, land navigation, and unit formations and weapon safety.

Another week of growth and preparation! Great work, Det 160!

The first Warrior Wednesday of this semester is C/3C Lavender!

My name is Wade Lavender. I am a second year Mechanical Engineering major. My desired AFSC is 11X (pilot). I would like to fly either a C-5 or F-22. A fun fact about me is that I love to kayak.

Keep up the good work, C/Lavender! ✈️

The Flying Bulldogs took on LLAB 5 by reinforcing the fundamentals and building strong foundations. The Detachment started with Reveille and GMC standby inspections. BC and BCL cadets strengthened their skills through marching, Warrior Knowledge, proper flag folding procedures, and flight drill evaluations. GMC cadets also had the opportunity to learn more about AAS/Silver Wings.

Another solid week of growth and leadership, great work, Bulldogs!

The Flying Bulldogs took on LLAB 4 with teamwork and precision. BC cadets joined BCL cadets for marching instruction, as BCL cadets stepped into leadership roles to teach drill movements and help BC cadets refine their fundamentals. BC cadets also gained exposure to COA Briefs during their Warfighting GLP, gaining hands-on experience learning what COAs are and how to brief them. Meanwhile, BCL cadets rotated through multiple GLPs, sharpening their attention to detail, teamwork, and leadership skills.

UGA Silver Wings had their first general body meeting of the semester! They picked up where they left off last semester and have ambitious plans for the rest of the semester, such as highway cleanups and book drives.

We are proud of our Silver Wings chapter and the impact they make on our campus and community!

Despite the winter cold, the Flying Bulldogs took on LLAB 3 with purpose and intensity. BC cadets sharpened their understanding of the Cadet Honor code and how it is applicable to their daily actions, while BCL cadets were given a taste of Field Training with a simulated standby inspection and in-processing. These trainings built creativity, camaraderie and morale across both flights.
