Among the pedestrians of the world who fret daily with their comings and goings, there walks a special breed of person who will hear the low rumble of engines and look upward at the wonder that others so casually ignore. Today around 11:15am… “That’s all, Brother” the C-47 that spearheaded the airborne invasion of northern France in World War II thundered right over our fair city by barely a mile up, and I wonder if anyone noticed her at all.

Congratulations to Braden Anderson on successful completion of the private pilot check ride. Braden was on a time crunch and needed to get his Private Pilot Certificate before heading off to college in late August. He locked in, focused on the goal, and completed the training from 0 hour to holder of a private pilot certificate in 10 weeks. Way to go Braden!
