We are happy to announce that BSPO and APhA-ASP are hosting a feminine hygiene drive now through April 14th! These items will be donated to local women’s shelters on each campus. Click through each slide to see what each area specifically needs. Donation bins will be located on each campus, and which ever pharmacy class donates the most will receive a special prize!

Mary Munson Runge broke so many barriers during her time as a pharmacist. Not only was she the first woman APhA representative to ACPE, she went in to become the first woman to be president of APhA, ending 126 years of men serving as its president!

Ms. Rosamond Alice Guinn was 1 of 13 female students enrolled at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. She and 7 of her colleagues decided to form a group who’s initiative was to help ensure that future women pharmacists were supported through their profession and personally. This group is what we know as Lambda Kappa Sigma!
