Auditions can be nerve-wracking. Let’s make them a whole lot less scary. 🎬✨

This Fall Break workshop is for our older Little Characters who want to walk into their next audition feeling a little more prepared and a LOT more confident.

We’ll play some games to shake out the nerves, talk about what makes an audition work, and then students will get a chance to perform their prepared monologue, receive coaching, make new choices, and try it again.

Come prepared with an 8–12 line monologue (about 30–60 seconds) that you’re familiar enough with to perform mostly off-script. We’ll take it from there!

$10 Acting Class - ONE WEEK AWAY!

An entire hour of theater fun for TEN BUCKS?! 🎭

Yep. We’re cramming as much fun as humanly possible into this one. 😂

We’ll play theater games, try acting exercises, get creative, get silly, and probably laugh a LOT — all alongside some awesome UGA Theatre students!

No theater experience necessary. Just bring your Little Character and come play with us.

As our Associate Director and Lead Teacher, CC Conner is practically the the MC of the LC with a bottomless toolbox to dig through -- be it from professional clowning, to music making, to that other boring stuff like a Magna Cum Laude Degree from UGA in Psychology, there's just too much to say here. Have you met Hannah yet? Don't let the impenetrable swagger fool you, this diva isn't here to upstage the talent, she's just here to polish our players prowess until they shine in the spotlight.

In case you haven't though, Hannah Eppling is the esteemed owner and founder of our enchanted playhouse and handles all of that business while also serving as the Little Characters Creative Director and Teacher for Performance Troupe and more!

Whether you're 3-years-old, or 20 times that (you do the math), Hannah has the skill and perseverance to bring out the best performance out of any character with her favorite topics of interest centered around emotional development, improv and characterization on stage.

Meet Emily! Some say stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to, but Emily Peden doesn't hesitate to dive head-first into every role that lands in her way, both on-stage, and off. That affinity for water features and other feature work may come in handy with her current major of Landscape Architecture at UGA combined with a certificate in Music Business. This is one busy character.

Inspired by her First-Year Odyssey seminar, “Theatre for Change,” Carley is excited to share the power of drama to shape lives and build confidence with Little Characters students! (And we're just as excited to have her as one of our featured players as well!)
