The Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band have their first concert of the semester, ‘American Heritage’, tonighht at 7pm CST! You can watch live in the O’Malley-McAllister Auditorium and online via our youtube stream, posted here later.

Are you a high school band senior? Interested in a college band scholarship? Come and join us for our Benedictine Bands Play Along / Audition day! Play with Benedictine College Wind Ensemble, learn about scholarships, you can even audition!

Scholarships are available for Athletic and Concert Bands. All instruments are considered.

This weekend you can join our Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band (7pm Saturday) and Orchestra (5pm Sunday) in the O’Malley-McAllister Auditorium , for their ‘Macabre Christmas’ and ‘Advent and Overtures’ concerts. Highlights include Guest Conductor Dr. Michael W. Mapp (Director of Bands, New Mexico State University), Dr. Deana Eberhart von Fange (Mezzo Soprano), an orchestra premiere by our own faculty member Dr. Peter Swanson, and music by Holst, Granger, Schubert, and Vaughan Williiams. We hope to see you there!

Saturday, November 22, Mount St. Scholastica Monastery, St. Scholastica Chapel 10 a.m. (809 S. 8th St.). Celebrant Fr. Meinrad Miller, OSB. After Mass a Special Blessing for Musicians.
