Back to School Picnic ✔️☀️🏐

We had a great afternoon celebrating the start of another school year! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today so much fun and created some great memories for our students.

It was a HOT one for our volleyball tournament, but HVAC is once again taking home the win! 🏆 Construction came in a very close 2nd with a great fight from start to finish!

Way to go, teams—and happy Friday! 🎉

One of our CNA students shared his musical talents with residents during clinicals last night, reminding us that caregiving is about so much more than medical skills. Moments like these create meaningful connections and brighten someone's day.

Congratulations to Jerrit Norris and Caleb Heim on graduating from the Diesel Technology program and becoming full-time service technicians at Heritage Tractor. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and excited to watch your careers grow! Join us in congratulating them! 👏

Today we're shining the spotlight on Jerrit Norris and Caleb Heim. Jerrit and Caleb recently graduated from Highland Community College's Diesel Technology program.

Now they're taking their sharpened skills back to the Atchison shop in a full-time capacity as service technicians!

🎉Congratulations to our Business Professionals of America (BPA) students on their outstanding success at the 2026 BPA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee!
National Award Winners:
🥇Adeline McManus – 1st Place, Health Administration Concepts; 2nd Place, Medical Coding; 3rd Place, Health Administration Procedures; 7th Place, Health Insurance & Medical Billing
🥇Elaina Minard – 1st Place, Fundamental Word Processing
🏅Administrative Support Team (Fultz, Burnham, Manning & Minard) – 4th Place Nationally
🏅Additional top-10 finishes were earned by Emmalee Burnham, Kayelee Manning, and Kaydeece Fultz in multiple competitive events.
Beyond competition, students gained valuable leadership experience, connected with business professionals from across the country, and participated in community service activities supporting the Special Olympics. We are so proud of Instructor Carrie Miller and all of our BPA members for representing HCCTC with excellence, leadership, and professionalism on the national stage!
