Today we're shining the spotlight on Jerrit Norris and Caleb Heim. Jerrit and Caleb recently graduated from Highland Community College's Diesel Technology program.

Now they're taking their sharpened skills back to the Atchison shop in a full-time capacity as service technicians!

🎉Congratulations to our Business Professionals of America (BPA) students on their outstanding success at the 2026 BPA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee!
National Award Winners:
🥇Adeline McManus – 1st Place, Health Administration Concepts; 2nd Place, Medical Coding; 3rd Place, Health Administration Procedures; 7th Place, Health Insurance & Medical Billing
🥇Elaina Minard – 1st Place, Fundamental Word Processing
🏅Administrative Support Team (Fultz, Burnham, Manning & Minard) – 4th Place Nationally
🏅Additional top-10 finishes were earned by Emmalee Burnham, Kayelee Manning, and Kaydeece Fultz in multiple competitive events.
Beyond competition, students gained valuable leadership experience, connected with business professionals from across the country, and participated in community service activities supporting the Special Olympics. We are so proud of Instructor Carrie Miller and all of our BPA members for representing HCCTC with excellence, leadership, and professionalism on the national stage!

Congratulations to Cooper and Logan, two of our Leavenworth Auto Tech students, on receiving a $500 Leavenworth Cruisers Scholarship!

This scholarship will help support them as they continue and complete their program at the Technical Center. We’re proud of their hard work and grateful to the Leavenworth Cruisers for investing in our students’ futures.
