The Brew Coffee Truck is coming to Raven Day!

Join us this Saturday, August 15th, from 3:00–7:00 PM in front of the cafeteria for The Brew’s famous ice cream!

Fun fact: Macie Keys, Class of 2023, created a coffee food truck business plan as part of her senior economics class. Needless to say, the business plan worked out!

Stop by on Raven Day, grab some delicious ice cream, and support an alumna-owned business! We can’t wait to see you there!

Raven Day is Saturday, August 15th!

This is an exciting day for all of our Raven families! Be sure to join us as we kick off the school year with a variety of activities. Sports physicals will be available throughout the day for student-athletes.

Parents and community members are invited to our Parent Club Social at the Wine Cellar, while students can enjoy the tradition of the Tennis Court Dance with friends.

We can’t wait to see everyone there. Go Ravens!

The Raven Store will be open for uniform and spirit wear purchases on the following dates and times. Tons of items on sale! The store is located in the basement of the Haverty Gymnasium. Please park in the student parking area and walk down to the gym. Cash, check, or Venmo only please.

Friday, July 31: 12 pm to 2 pm
Friday, August 7: 11 am to 2 pm

The store will also be open on Raven Day, but we hope that offering additional shopping days before school starts will alleviate any lines for the store on that day.

Blankets go on sale Monday in the front office for $25. They’ll also be available for purchase at Raven Day as well!

Maur Hill-Mount Academy is proud to announce that Dave Domann, Class of 1971, has been named the 2026 Alumni of the Year. Dave will be honored at the League of St. Maur Gala on September 19, 2026 at the Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City.

A lifelong connection to Atchison and the Maur Hill-Mount Academy community has shaped Domann’s life and legacy. Raised just blocks from campus, he grew up in a neighborhood where attending Maur Hill Preparatory School and Mount St. Scholastica Academy was a natural path for Dave and his five siblings. That early foundation helped instill the values of faith, community, and service that continue to guide him today.

After graduating from Maur Hill Prep in 1971, Domann attended the University of Kansas, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy, as well as completing a hospital pharmacy residency program. His career in healthcare spanned decades, beginning in academia, and community and hospital pharmacy leadership, before leading to a 28-year tenure in the medical and healthcare industry with Bristol Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson. During this time, he played a role in shaping national healthcare priorities, including participation in a federal initiative under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services focused on improving quality and accessibility in healthcare.

Domann’s connection to Maur Hill-Mount Academy extends far beyond his years as a student. In the 1980s, he served on the Maur Hill Prep Alumni Board. After returning to Kansas following his retirement, he reengaged with Maur Hill-Mount Academy as a member of the Board of Directors during a pivotal time for the school, helping guide efforts toward sustainability and growth in the wake of the pandemic.

Family has also been central to his life. Dave and his wife, Libby, met while attending the University of Kansas and will celebrate 50 years of marriage next year. Together they have three children and five grandchildren, and they cherish time spent with family both in Kansas and in Northern Michigan.
