These past Homecoming Parade floats deserve their own moment! Back in the day, these impressive floats were made by each class and occasionally the Off-Campus club, today each dorm makes one. Photos from 1958, 1961.

A view of the Abbey from the river in 1932. Based on this photo it appears the river level was very low which was fitting for the time as the Dust Bowl was raging and severe drought was impacting Kansas and other western states.

"The Trinity and Episodes of Benedictine Life" by Jean Charlot. This fresco, located behind the altar in the Abbey Church, has been a staple to the college and Atchison community since 1959. Jean Charlot was an artist originally from Paris, whose family had a background in Russia, Spain, and Mexico, which greatly influenced his work. Throughout his life he created frescoes in Mexico, Hawaii, Fiji, and more.
