Atascadero Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit, parent participation preschool that has been nurturing children and families for more than 50 years.

We believe children receive the best education with the active participation of parents working alongside a teacher in a play-centered, developmentally appropriate learning environment. We inspire children to learn hands-on through curiosity, imagination and creativity with diverse opportunities for social, emotional, cognitive, language, and motor growth. We provide children with a warm, positive environment where they are welcome and free to explore and learn to their greatest potential.

Our ACP Parents’ Night Out is happening THIS FRIDAY night, and it’s going to be a blast! Kids get pizza and snacks, a movie, glow fun, and all the toys they love while YOU get a few glorious hours to do whatever you want! Perfect timing for all the Halloween parties taking place this weekend. We would love to see our alumni, summer camp kids, and any new families that want to check us out!

We’ve got TWO special opportunities this month for your little ones (2-8) to join us for some extra fun! Surrounding schools are closed for the holiday on 10/13, but we’ll be OPEN and ready for a full day of play, learning, and adventure!

The week before Halloween is filled with parties and events, come drop off the kiddos for a spooktacular evening while you enjoy some grown-up Halloween festivities! Whether you’re attending a party, sneaking off for dinner, or just enjoying silence for a few glorious hours, we’ve got you covered. We do have cots for children to rest/sleep on for the late evening.

Happy Fall, Y’all! We are starting out our fundraising efforts strong this year, starting with an awesome cash calendar. $20/square or $80/5 (that’s one square free!). We will choose one winner each week for three weeks, and have a SECRET GRAND PRIZE winner drawn on 10/31! Squares can be purchased through cash, check or Venmo (). Your support for our nonprofit preschool ensures our longevity, building improvements, educational resources, and most importantly above all else- the opportunity to provide affordable, community based care for our students. 🧡🎃💕

We’ve got just a few weeks left of Summer Camp, and now is the perfect time to jump in if you've considered sending your little one! Enrollment is now discounted, so you can join the fun without breaking the bank! With themed weeks, circle time, crafts, music, and LOTS OF PLAY- this is the summer memory maker you don’t want to miss. Spaces are limited, but we do have a few openings we are looking to fill!

Getting new tires and don’t want to pay the recycling fee for your old ones, or have some old tires collecting dirt on the side of the garage- well Atascadero Cooperative Preschool can take them off your hands for our new “tire farm” outdoor play area!
