Here is all the information for our Senior Activities!
BACCALAUREATE
Date: Sunday, June 10, 2012 Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Atascadero Bible Church
Dress: Graduation gowns (No Caps) Cost: No charge
Baccalaureate is an interfaith commencement ceremony for the Class of 2012. An opportunity for the class to celebrate the ending of their high school career with their friends, family, and classmates. Speeches will be given by various seniors and staff members and music will be provided by various senior members at AHS. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
SENIOR LUAU
Date: Monday June 11, 2012 Time: 4:00 pm
Location: AHS Upper Practice Field
Dress: Hawaiian/Beach attire Cost: No charge
The luau will consist of a combination of activities: dancing, water games, snacking and playing games. Bring a towel and Beach Chair, water slide is optional so bring a suit if you plan to participate in water activities. No undergraduates allowed - SENIORS ONLY!!
SENIOR BREAKFAST
Date: Tuesday, June 12, 2012 Time: 8:30 am
Location: AHS Snack bar
Cost: No charge
Breakfast will be sponsored by the Kiwanis Club and served to the class of 2012 prior to graduation rehearsal. Once again... SENIORS ONLY!!!
GRADUATION PRACTICE: MANDATORY
Date: Tuesday, June 12, 2012 Time: 9:30am - 12:00 pm Location: Report to the Gym
GRADUATION
Date: Wednesday, June 13, 2012 Time: 4:00 pm
Location: Meet in Ewing Gym @ 3:00pm-SHARP!!!
Be sure to bring your cap, gown, tassel, and extra bobby pins with you. Do not put your gown on until you are instructed to do so by Mrs. Donaghe. Please dress appropriately underneath your gown! Prior to entering the gym, please give your personal belongings (cameras, purses, keys, make-up, etc.) to a friend or family member. You cannot take them into the gym or onto the field with you. Also, please do not bring items that will disrupt the ceremony — remember you signed the ‘graduation agreement’!
