Last Christmas we had a blast at the Christmas Recital. Josiah performed the song "Little Children" and he was so excited to share his talent. After the performances the kids decorated cookies and the guests enjoyed appetizers, desserts and drinks. Overall it was an amazing experience and I can't want for you to join us this year for our annual Christmas Recital. You too, can play your favorite holiday tunes by December and share memories like this one with your family for years to come!

Reflecting on this poem with photos from exactly 10 Years ago when my dreams started to explode

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore—

What happened to your dream?

Makena started her piano journey in September of 2022 and she has now graduated from my Beginning Piano Program and on to bigger and better things. It is a bitter-sweet moment that I was not prepared for at all. Teachers and students build a strong bond and I wish I could keep her forever but we gotta let go and let them grow.

Mom wrote to me,
"Over Spring break we went across the street to visit our neighbor who is about 97 years old and Makena saw that she had a piano and so while I talked and visited with her, Makena ran home and got her piano book and came back and played some songs for her and that was really special that she could do that. I will keep encouraging her to play with her sheet music. I am so grateful you've been a part of her journey.
