You saved the date…now we can finally share everything we have planned! 🎉

On Saturday, September 19, we’re officially cutting the ribbon on our new Sunnyside home—and celebrating with our entire Tip-Top Brain and Queens community. 💜

Come explore hands-on activity stations, collect stamps and fill your Passport to Genius as you:

Every family will receive a raffle entry, with more chances to enter as you make your way through the celebration! We’ll also have giveaways, tours of our new space, light refreshments and music throughout the celebration! 🎶

And we’re so excited to welcome our special guest, author Sylvia Chen , for an interactive program inspired by her book, Tricky Chopsticks! Beginning at 12:30 PM, families can enjoy storytime and Q&A, chopstick challenges, 3D origami and a book signing. 📚🥢

Space for Sylvia’s program is limited. Advance RSVP is required, and spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP through the link in our bio!

A summer day at Tip-Top Brain Sunnyside looks a little something like this… 💜☀️

From morning learning to playground breaks, hands-on experiments, creative projects, new friendships, and plenty of fun in between, there was a lot packed into each day. 🧪🎨📚

But our favorite part? Watching our new Sunnyside space filled with kids doing exactly what we built it for: learning, creating, asking questions, figuring things out, laughing, and enjoying being here. 🧠✨

Our first summer camp week in Sunnyside is officially in the books — and we couldn’t have imagined a better way to start. 💜

What makes Tip-Top Brain different? It starts with how we see every child! 🌟

We know that no two students learn exactly the same way. That’s why our approach has never been about simply getting through an assignment or finding the right answer. It’s about understanding the student in front of us...how they learn, what they need, and what will help them build the confidence to succeed on their own!

So what are 5 things we believe every kid deserves?

1. Someone who explains it another way:

If it doesn’t click the first time, we find another way. Sometimes a different explanation is all it takes to turn frustration into understanding.

2. Room to ask questions:

Questions are encouraged here! We want students to feel comfortable being curious, speaking up, and saying “I don’t understand yet.”

3. Time to figure things out:

Learning isn’t a race. We give students the space to think, try, make mistakes, and experience that incredible “I got it!” moment for themselves.

4. Chances to learn by doing:

Whether they’re building, experimenting, creating, or problem-solving, we believe some of the most powerful learning happens when kids get involved!

5. Someone who sees their potential:

Beyond grades and assignments, we want every student to have someone in their corner who recognizes what they’re capable of and helps them see it too! 💜

Sunnyside, save the date—and Astoria, you’re invited too! ✂️💜

We opened our Sunnyside doors this summer, but a milestone like this deserved a moment when our whole community could be there. So we saved the official celebration for September, when families are back from vacation and settling into the rhythm of a new school year.

On Saturday, September 19, we’re bringing our Astoria and Sunnyside families together for the official ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration! 🧠✨

The event will be FREE and open to everyone, with hands-on activities, raffles, giveaways, tours of our new space, and a special author visit and book signing! 📚
