Tiny chefs, big burgers! 🍔✨

Last Saturday, our cooking class took on Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders! From prepping ingredients to assembling the perfect slider, every step was hands-on and made from scratch. 😄

There’s something special about watching students gain confidence in the kitchen, try new skills, and proudly say, “I made this!” 💜

Safe to say, these sliders were almost as great as the chefs who made them! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

Week 5 from Sunnyside, coming in a little late… which feels fitting for this week. 😅

This one was full of changes, choices, site visits, swatches, flooring headaches, and lots of behind-the-scenes problem solving.

Some weeks are a little messier than others, but that’s part of bringing a space like this to life.

Every decision is getting us closer to building a space our students truly deserve.

Golden, cheesy, and straight out of the oven! 🧀✨

Our students took on baked macaroni & cheese during Saturday’s cooking class, learning how simple ingredients come together to create a comfort-food classic. From melting different cheeses to watching it bake to perfection, every step was hands-on and full of excitement!

There’s something special about seeing students so proud of what they created themselves… especially when they’re asking for seconds!💜👩‍🍳

Last Saturday’s cooking class had our students making Cheesy Bacon Bite Corn Dip from scratch... mixing, layering, and creating a dish that was just as fun to make as it was to eat.

These classes give our students the chance to build real kitchen skills, try new things, and gain confidence through hands-on learning (with some seriously delicious results at the end 😋)!
