Sweet Shoppe
Artists will use a variety of materials from paper mache to recycled materials to create a buffet of sweet treats. Candies, cupcakes, donuts and ice cream…this camp is sure to satisfy your young artist’s sweet tooth!

Enchanted Forest I and II **Session II: 2 spots left**
The forest is a magical place. From gnomes and fairies to toadstools and woodland creatures, we will use nature to inspire the creation of a magical woodland shadow box among other enchanted works of art.

Pocketful of Color **CLASS FULL**
This week will be an exploration of color through art and science. We will use a wide range of materials to collage, paint, sculpt, and mix up some good, messy experiments.

A quarantine love story ❤️
A pair of former play-schoolers had the good fortune of living across the street from each other. When schools shut down last spring, they were thrilled to “meet” in their respective yards for sunshine filled days through the summer months and beyond. With one friend homeschooling and the other distance learning, both friends began to ensure their daily schedule included ample play time with each one another 🥰

When the season changed, some would head indoors and leave outdoor playtime until drier, warmer days returned. Even as the cold, wet, and dark winter set in, these play-schoolers at heart could not be stopped; they continued to head outside each day ready to play for an hour or two, sometimes three, four, or more! The best part? This love story has no end; although play school no longer exists as a physical space, its spirit can and will live on in playful hearts like these! If you, too, have a quarantine love story, please share here & spread some cheer 💘

It is with great sadness that we announce play school will not be reopening this fall. Our sincere gratitude goes out to all of the families and supporters in our community who have made the past four years possible. We are especially thankful for the children who made our time at play school a magical and unforgettable experience. We hope that our paths continue to cross and that there are lots of rainbows in all of our futures.
