Congratulations to Mylie Lempea on this National recognition!

Mylie Lempea has been named the 2026 National Scholarship Recipient by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA).
The NIAAA annually awards scholarships to outstanding student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and citizenship. After first being selected as the Section 8 Female Scholarship Recipient, representing Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming, Mylie advanced to the national level and was selected as the top scholarship recipient in the United States.
As the national winner, Mylie will receive an additional $4,000 on top of her already $2,500 scholarship to support her higher education. She has also been invited to attend the NIAAA National Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, where she will be recognized before approximately 2,000 athletic administrators from across the country and present her award-winning essay, "How High School Athletics Has Impacted My Life."
Mylie earned this honor through an exceptional combination of academic achievement, athletic success, leadership, and community involvement. Her accomplishments exemplify the values of educational athletics and the positive impact high school sports can have on young people.
Mylie has consistently demonstrated excellence in everything she does, and we couldn't be more proud of her. Congratulations Mylie on this remarkable achievement, we look forward to celebrating your national recognition in December.
