One of the most challenging experiences is not knowing what your child did in school that day.

Our end-of-day communication worksheet gives non-speaking students a chance to share their feelings, experiences, choices, and favorite moments of the day. 💛

Students and teachers can use this worksheet for an end of day, activities or at the end of an afterschool activity !

To the parents of non-speaking children, on the night before a new school year… ❤️

If your heart is a little anxious tonight, we want you to know something:

It’s going to be okay.

There may be hard days. There may be moments when you wonder if your child is being understood. There may be days that don’t go according to plan.

But there will also be growth. Connection. Friendship. Laughter. Breakthroughs. Little victories. And moments that remind you just how incredible your child is.

Your child does not need to communicate the way everyone else does to have something important to say. All forms of communication is valid! Their thoughts matter and their way of expressing themselves deserves to be heard.

And you don’t have to have all the answers.

You just have to keep showing up.

Keep advocating.
Keep believing.
Keep celebrating the little things.
Keep reminding your child that they belong.

And remember — you are not walking into this school year alone.

Take a deep breath tonight.
Pack the backpack.
Set the alarm.
Give your child an extra hug.

Tomorrow is a new beginning.

Turn-taking seems small, but it’s part of so many everyday interactions... sharing materials, joining a game, listening while someone else speaks, waiting for a turn, or learning how to move through activities with others.

A lot of those skills are built gradually through consistent practice in everyday moments at home and in community spaces 💛 Swipe through for a few simple ways to encourage turn-taking naturally throughout the day →

And if you’re looking for additional opportunities for your child to practice these skills alongside peers, our Summer Social Club keeps groups intentionally small so kids have meaningful chances to engage, participate, and build confidence over time.
