Our favorite collaboration with the Pitkin County Library is back! Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9, for a fantastically Jurassic-themed storytime in the Hurst Theatre Lobby at 10:30am. We will be reading Stomp, Dinosaur, Stomp by Margaret Mayo. Can't wait to see you there!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Our Something Rotten! Camp is officially expanding from K-1 to K-4!
Now more of our rising superstars can step into the Renaissance for a week of pure theatre magic. From Renaissance-themed crafts and games to performing on the District Stage alongside Nick, Nigel, and Shakespeare, this week is going to be absolutely egg-sellent! 🥚.

The Spongebob Musical Opens This Weekend! 🧽🍍🌊🪸

Come support our incredible cast of goofy goobers as they tell this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world.

DIRECTOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

We’re pleased to welcome Rosie Corr, a recent Assistant Director on Broadway, as the director of Theatre Aspen Education’s production of Something Rotten.

In addition to her Broadway experience, Rosie is a director, choreographer, and arts educator who has directed productions across the country. We are thrilled to have her join Theatre Aspen Education this summer.

Since their debut in 1938, Charles Addams’ iconic characters have enchanted audiences with their gothic charm and heartfelt family values (yes, even this family has them!). This camp centers the power of family and embracing your inner ADDAMS! Join Wednesday, Pugsley, Morticia, Gomez, and the whole eerie crew as we bring their peculiar universe to life in a one-of-a-kind, original performance during our final camp showcase on July 31!

Rock through the ages!! From Elvis to Benson Boone, there’s something for everyone to explore in this exciting final Early Release offering. Kiki Pink is an internationally ranked air-guitar CHAMPION! (2024 Colorado champion/currently ranked 13th best air-guitarist in the world) Learn her secrets of the trade, including how to make a rocking persona, shred the air guitar like no one is watching, and learn how to save the world while playing, well, nothing. This program culminates in a live battle-of-the-bands, taking you on a mind-bending journey through music.

✨Be a Star this Summer! ✨

Broadway. Bangers. Pop Rock storms the stage!! Up and coming artists will star in a cabaret of pop/rock songs in the spirit of jukebox musicals like Mamma Mia, Moulin Rouge, & Juliet, and Rock of Ages. Industry teaching artists will provide guidance to help you perfect these unique vocal styles and build a specialized repertoire. You’ll gain valuable performance experience through a blend of audition cuts and ensemble pop showstoppers. This camp will take place over the course of two weeks, culminating in a fully produced cabaret showcase on August 7!
