Crab cake with garlic aioli atop fennel tomato and fresh greens salad. Paired with a Nahe Sekt. Fresh lemon, a little doughy, cream, all the things I want in a sparkling wine. But, I am not a fan of carbonated sparklers from any wine region, the bubbles are just too harsh for me. I much prefer Méthode champenoise.

Israeli roasted lamb shoulder with warm tabouli salad (not traditional made with roasted red peppers instead of tomatoes and served warm, adjusted to pair with the wine), paired with a 2000 chateau musar rouge (Gaston Hochar), Lebanese Cabernet Sauvignon.

Italian sausage spice rubbed pork tenderloin with fennel salad.
Paired with an Italian ribolla nera from friuli Italy.
The wine is medium+ bodied, medium tannins and medium acidity, which was just right for this meal. In addition often times I get anise both on the nose and palate in Italian wine and this one is no exception. The sausage spice has fennel seeds and the has grilled grilled fennel so that anise flavor is carried through the pairing for a great compliment.
