AspenOUT is an LGBTQIA+ nonprofit 501c3. Our annual fundraiser is Aspen Gay Ski Week. They also host smaller fundraising opportunities throughout the year.

Of the data that came out of the first year of the partnership, Volk shared that 87% of folks expressed they’re dealing with anxiety and depression or stress. Of that 87%, 54% said they don’t currently have access to mental health resources or therapy.
“Those are really striking numbers,” Volk said. “It’s easy to see how there is such a high su***de rate. By offering this and letting the community know these resources are out there — that’s been our mission. It’s been our mission for a long time.”
AspenOUT partners with app to make mental health more accessible AspenOUT has partnered with Voda, an LGBTQ+ mental wellbeing app, for the second year in a row in order to expand mental health access for those in rural areas.

Next year, AspenOUT’s Jack Raife Mental Health Fund will expand services due to an increased need in the Roaring Fork Valley.

As we close out Pride Month, we'd like to recognize and shout out AspenOut, a vital organization that provides support and services to the diverse LGBTQ+ population of the valley. 🏳️🌈 Kimberly Kuliga, Executive Director, shared her insights on how the organization listens to community members' needs and responds accordingly. Even though Pride Month is coming to a close, we are proud to support AspenOUT year-round.
