At last night's board of education meeting, our 2026 Most Valuable Partners were recognized. Each year, district staff nominate businesses or individuals in our community that partner with our schools to positively impact students' educational experiences, most often through financial contributions or business opportunities for our students.
Congratulations to this year's recipients: The Ashwaubenon Alumni Association and Mrs. Joanne Krcmar.
The Alumni Association betters our school district and supports our alumni both socially through activities such as the yearly Ashwaubenon Blast and financially through scholarships and other school-based donations. The Ashwaubenon Alumni Association sponsors nearly $15,000 in scholarships each year for graduating seniors.
Joanne Krcmar and her late husband Ed are retired teachers from Ashwaubenon High School and longtime supporters of the community. Joanne has made numerous meaningful donations to the district, most recently donating over $11,000 to start the Krcmar Teacher 2 Teacher Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to teachers who participate in our Jaguar Academy Master’s Degree Program, recognizing their dedication to continued learning and making graduate studies more attrainable.
