❤️so true!!
Some days in childcare feel smooth and easy…
And then there are the days with challenging behaviors.
The hitting.
The biting.
The constant “no.”
The child who won’t sit, won’t listen, and seems to push every limit you have.
It’s exhausting.
And what makes it even harder is this…
You’re trying to stay calm, be patient, protect the other kids, teach the behavior, and somehow keep the whole room running at the same time.
That’s not a small job. That’s everything all at once.
But here’s something I want you to remember…
Challenging behavior isn’t a bad child.
It’s a child who doesn’t yet have the skills to handle what they’re feeling.
And you?
You’re the one helping them learn those skills.
Even when it feels like nothing is working.
Even when you’re repeating yourself for the hundredth time.
Even when you’re completely worn out by the end of the day.
You are doing important work.
And if today was one of those hard days…
where you felt stretched thin and questioned everything…
You still showed up.
You still cared.
You still tried.
That matters more than you think.
