St. Carlo Acutis used his unique passion for technology and his everyday gifts to point others straight to heaven. He didn't wait to grow up to make an impact—he used what was right in his hands.

His life is a powerful reminder that the things we love and the talents we’ve been given aren't random. When we align our personal gifts and passions with the Lord, even our everyday hobbies can become a pathway for His grace.

What gift has God placed in your hands today to share with the world?

Dr. Maria Montessori was very intentional with her use of color in the classroom. The rods are red, pink tower ... All based on her research. When you step into Montessori classroom, know it was intentionally planned with so much purpose!

✋ "The hands are the instruments of man's intelligence." — Dr. Maria Montessori✋

In a Montessori environment, you won’t see children sitting still at desks listening to lectures all day. Why? Because we know that true learning happens through movement and touch!

When a child traces a sandpaper letter, scrubs a table, or builds with the Pink Tower, they aren't just keeping their hands busy. They are physically wiring their developing brain. The tactile experience of working with concrete, beautifully designed materials bridges the gap between abstract concepts and real-world understanding.

We don't just want children to memorize information; we want them to feel it, explore it, and grasp it—literally!

🔄 Why Do They Do It Again... and Again? 🔄

Ever wonder why a child wants to pour the same pitcher of water or build the same block tower 20 times in a row? In a Montessori environment, repetition is celebrated!

When a child repeats an activity over and over, they aren't just passing time. They are actively:
Building deep concentration
Refining their fine motor skills
Wiring their developing brain for success

To a child, repetition can be a comforting, empowering process of perfecting a skill. Dr. Maria Montessori observed that this repetition is exactly how children construct themselves.

So, the next time you see them "stuck on repeat," try not to interrupt or rush them onto the next thing! Step back and watch the beautiful way that unfolds. ✨

To celebrate the feast day of St. Faustina, your family can pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy or look up the image of the Divine Mercy Jesus. As you gaze upon the image of our Lord, talk about the rays coming from his heart. The red represents the outpouring of his blood, and the blue represents the water outpoured during His ultimate sacrifice of love. With little ones, simply teach them the words, “Jesus, I trust in You!”To celebrate the feast day of St. Faustina, your family can pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy or look up the image of the Divine Mercy Jesus. This week some of our students were able to study all about mushrooms!

🍄

Our primary students have been busy exploring the fascinating world of mushrooms! We got hands-on with the different parts of a mushroom, examining everything from the smooth caps on top to the delicate gills hidden underneath.

One of the most exciting discoveries? Mushrooms don’t belong to the plant or animal families!

In the Montessori primary environment, this is merely an introduction. By planting these seeds of curiosity now, we are laying the perfect foundation for the Elementary years, where students will have the opportunity to dive even deeper into the biological classification of fungi, and their vital role in the ecosystem.
