Christian Faith Academy: investing in the leaders of tomorrow

Mrs. Sowry's class had a really cool field trip to Kinder Morgan Pinney Dock.

Pinney Dock is a port facility on Lake Erie in Ashtabula, Ohio. It handles commodities such as petroleum products, renewable fuels, and chemicals, using marine vessels, trucks, and rail transportation for receiving and distributing cargo.

Great opportunity to be adventurous and have fun reading!

Henderson Library’s Summer Reading Program is almost here, and this year’s theme is Plant a Seed, Read!

Join us June 1 from 4–6 PM for our Summer Reading Kick-Off! Stop by to sign up for Summer Reading, pick up your reading log, and get ready for a summer full of reading fun. Reading logs are available for ages 0–5, 6–12, Teens, and Adults.

After registering, enjoy snacks and refreshments with your ticket and enter for a chance to win a door prize.

This year’s Plant a Seed, Read theme is rooted in the farm-to-table concept: just as farms grow food that nourishes our bodies, libraries grow ideas that nourish our minds. Food and stories both connect us to family, culture, economy, and ecology.
