Helping students succeed goes beyond the classroom.

Sometimes, removing a barrier to learning looks like a winter coat for a student or a new pair of shoes. It might be making sure our nurses’ stations have the supplies they need or support for our local food pantry.

That’s why we are so excited about our partnership with neighborhood bridges an organization whose mission is to bridge communities with schools by providing basic needs, removing barriers, and seeking equity so students can engage and succeed in school and in life.

Through this partnership, Buckeye Valley staff can identify needs within our schools, and our community has the opportunity to step up and help meet those needs.

Want to be part of the bridge?

Follow Neighborhood bridges Buckeye Valley on social media and, most importantly, subscribe to receive notifications about needs in the Buckeye Valley community.

When you subscribe, you can receive an email when there is an opportunity to help, you never know when a small act of kindness will remove a big barrier for a student.

Follow. Subscribe. Give when you can. 💛

🐿️🦝🦌We continue to receive calls asking our staff to remove groundhogs, control squirrels, relocate birds, or stop deer and raccoons from visiting yards.

While we understand that wildlife can sometimes become a nuisance, DPHD does not provide animal control or wildlife removal services.

For wildlife concerns, please contact a local wildlife control professional or the appropriate local agency for assistance.
