" We had a great turnout at our Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training last week! According to K-State Extension Clark County and Comanche County Extension agents Emma Klein and Levi Miller.
Participants gained valuable knowledge through hands-on activities and learned the importance of proper animal care and handling—skills that will carry over into their projects and beyond. It was great to see such engagement and willingness to learn!
A huge thank you to those who helped make this training possible:
-Dr. Tonia Traas, @ Sandhills Veterinary Services, for helping instruct the class.
Medicine Lodge Meat Company. for providing the ears and snacks/drinks so the youth could practice tagging and stay fueled for the afternoon
We truly appreciate your support of youth programming and your commitment to the success of our local 4-H’ers! "
