Before we share posts written by others, ask questions. Try to find original sources when you can. Don’t forget that some posts are made to get reactions out of you and interactions so that influencers in content creators can make money. My page is not monetized and I share information because I feel like it’s the right thing to do.
All that being said, some of the information being shared about executive orders pertaining to AI, Data Centers, and the Department of War is incorrect and the assumptions are made based on incorrect information...
Here is what I know: On the federal register executive order 14318 this is from July 28, 2025, not June 2nd 2026 like the viral post going around says.
Find Executive Order 14318 here:
https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/07/28/2025-14212/accelerating-federal-permitting-of-data-center-infrastructure
The June 2, 2026 executive order pertaining to this matter is 14409 and can be found here: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/06/05/2026-11415/promoting-advanced-artificial-intelligence-innovation-and-security
I do think that this post that is circulating in a lot of data center groups is either from someone who is misinformed or is intentionally misleading others to get clicks. The language in E.O. 14409 suggests that AI will be used in cybersecurity and that a new department will be formed to analyze weaknesses and risks in new AI to prevent it from being used against the U.S.
Unless that information is separate or written away to confuse people, which sometimes it is, I do not see data centers being military installations based on either order. **Lawyers, if I missed it, please drop the specific line of language you find it from digging below that suggests data centers are going to become military installations. I will update and inform as I learn new information.
