We support the Mission of Southern Oregon University by being dedicated to student safety, success, and responsible citizenship. We strive to serve the Campus Community by maintaining the highest standards of work performance and interaction between the officers and the campus community. Through the use of partnerships, programs, and a 24 hour seven day per week presence across campus, our officers work to deliver services to meet the diverse needs of our students, faculty, staff and visitors. Our duties include enforcing State laws, City ordinances, and University policies when those violations compromise safety and/or the livability of the campus community.

We are aware of a Verizon Wireless service outage that may impact the ability to place calls in some areas.
If you are unable to call 9-1-1 during an emergency, try one of these options: 🚓

• Call from a landline phone
• Text 9-1-1 (where available)
• Use satellite texting or SOS features on your device
• Enable Wi-Fi Calling on your phone
• Ask to use another person’s phone on a different wireless carrier
