Emily Nelis Locklear and Chris Locklear will be hosting several Quillwork Workshops the week of March 10th.

Currently the scheduled workshops are filled with waitlists, however the artists will be in residence in Northland's Indigenous Cultures Center located in Mead Hall 114B on March 12 and 13th from 10 am - 4 pm if you would like to stop by.

Come learn about the history of the snow snake and techniques to make your own.

The Northland College Indigenous Cultures Center will be hosting a Snow Snake Making Workshop at our Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute (SOEI) on Monday, January 27th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Winter 2025 Beading Circle starts this Friday, January 17th and will meet each Friday from 2:30 - 4:30 through April 11th (except March 7th).

Beading Circle is open to Northland College Students, Staff, and Faculty.

Supplies are provided.

We will be gathering on the lawn outside of the Indigenous Cultures Center (ICC) located in Mead Hall at 5:00 p.m.

If you would like to bring a small dish to share, you can bring it to the ICC Student Lounge (Mead 114B).
