When it came time to select an image for the front of this year's Father's Day Bulletin I had a perfect example of a father and son. Everyone who knew J. D. will tell you that he was an outstanding example of a great Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.

The Memorial Service starts at 11:00 a.m. this morning, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Christian Church of Ashland, 318 B Street (corner of 2nd and B Streets). and Streaming on Ustream Live and JD's page.

Final preparations for the live stream Saturday are complete. It looks like everything should go well as long as our bandwidth holds. If the stream drops while you are watching please be patient. We will have it back up as quickly as we can. If it has been a couple of minutes you might refresh your browser just in case. It is also being recorded locally for a backup. Be aware that Ustream does play some short ads and it looks like they queue the live feed so that you will not miss anything. After a commercial it will pick up where it left off before the commercial. You can also skip some commercials after they have played part of it without having to watch the whole ad.
