What is truth—and how can we know it? What does it mean to be human? Were we designed, and if so, does our Creator have something to say about who we are and how we should live?

Before we choose a major, pursue a career, enter a relationship, or construct a version of ourselves, we must first ask what a human life is for. Introduction to a Biblical Worldview creates space to wrestle thoughtfully with these enduring questions of reality, identity, freedom, meaning, purpose, work, society, and the good life—and to consider how Jesus Christ speaks into every one of them.
Join Amirah David and Jenna Hays for this three course series starting Sept. 25th at Magna Deo Center for the Arts and Education- 1501 Jackson Road, Ashland.
Every person has a worldview: a set of foundational beliefs about what is real, what has gone wrong with the world, what can make it right, and what gives life meaning. Sign up at

The Artistic Spoken Word with Amirah David. A Poetic Event

Rarely do we have opportunities to sit in awe and listen and learn from someone whose gifts and impact are truly unforgettable. Amirah David is such a one. Next Friday, August 14th at 10:30 a.m. Amirah will join us at Magna Deo for the Biblical Arts and Education in Ashland.

Amirah grew up in Ashland. Amirah is a licensed mental health therapist and writes poetry as a way to heal. Five years ago her life was transformed when she found God - or more precisely, when He found her, through her quest for truth, meaning and hope. Her search was sparked by the suffering she witnessed daily, both in her counseling practice and in the world around her. She has written two books of poetry and facilitates poetry/artists workshops and events. She will sharing her story and excerpts form her book of Poetic Apologetics - Taken by Grace.

"Amirah does with words in poetry what C.S. Lewis did with story in Chronicles of Narnia. She stirs the imagination and heart to sense that our experiences, sorrows and joys are connected to something far grander and wilder than we, perhaps, have yet imagined. Amirah's poetry offers, for some, an invitation to locate hope outside of our circumstances and ourselves. Her gentleness is her power and it could disarm even the hardest heart." - Jenna Hays, author of Identity and Calling.
$10 per guest includes sweet treats, a gift , and an expression of love and gratitude to Amirah. Space is limited so please RSVP at https://form.jotform.com/262144911361148
