Just a reminder to our families that Cadence Academy Preschool will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, August 28th, for Professional Development Day. 💚

Our teachers will be spending the day preparing for an amazing new school year! The day will include staff trainings, classroom setup and organization, and team-building activities to help our teachers learn, grow, and get ready to welcome our students back. 🍎✏️

We appreciate our families’ understanding as we take this important day to invest in our teachers and classrooms. We can’t wait to kick off the new school year! 💚✨

🔬🐾 A Closer Look! 🐾🔬

Our toddlers explored different animal slides under the microscope today! 👀🔍 They loved taking a closer look, noticing tiny details, and talking about what they could see.

This activity supported so many developmental skills, including:
✨ Cognitive Development – exploring cause and effect and making observations
🗣️ Language Development – learning new words and describing what they see
👀 Focus & Attention– practicing looking closely and staying engaged
🤏 Fine Motor Skills – carefully handling and exploring the microscope
💭 Curiosity & Discovery – encouraging questions and an excitement for learning

🫧💦 Learning From Our Big Friends!💦🫧

One of our infant friends joined the toddlers for some playground fun! From splashing in the water to chasing bubbles, our little learner was busy watching, exploring, and trying new things. 💙

Time with older friends helps build confidence, social skills, gross motor development, and encourages learning through imitation! 🌟 Sometimes the best learning happens through play! 🫧💕

This week, Room 11 is learning all about inventions and inventors! After learning about the catapult, our little inventors made their own using popsicle sticks, spoons, and rubber bands! 🛠️

The best part? Testing them out by launching colorful pom-poms around the classroom!

Our Cadence Academy Preschool family had a wonderful time celebrating Ms. Karla as she prepares to welcome her sweet baby girl! 💗

Our KickStart Soccer Program is off to an amazing start, and our young athletes are having a blast learning new skills each week! Over the past two weeks, we’ve been practicing small dribbles, ball control, and passing to teammates while building confidence, coordination, and teamwork.

To celebrate another great session, we cooled off with some yummy popsicles! 😋

We can’t wait to see how much our players continue to grow throughout the rest of the program. Way to go, soccer stars! 🌟⚽💙💚

✨ Big milestones happening in our Infant Room! ✨

Our little learners have been busy building their strength and confidence! 💙 We have two friends who are pulling themselves up using our pull-up bar and proudly checking themselves out in the mirror. Watching their faces light up as they discover their reflection is such a special moment! 🪞🥰

These exciting milestones help develop balance, coordination, muscle strength, and self-awareness. We are so proud of all their hard work and can't wait to see what they accomplish next! 🌟
