Passing along this message for the AG administration: We are nearly ready to begin hosting Varsity events in our new gym located in the nearly completed Ashland-Greenwood Middle School! This week, we are hosting what may be the LAST HOME EVENTS in our current 1966 Gym located in the Ashland-Greenwood Senior High building.

Thursday, December 14: 5:00 pm. We host a Varsity Wrestling Triangular. We are inviting any member of the 1966-67 Wrestling team to join us for that event and we would like to recognize you following the opening Dual. We love to connect our past and our present and we would love to host those that competed in this gym in its first year (1966-67) as we celebrate our current squad in our last year of varsity events in the gym! Prior to the last Dual, Ashland-Greenwood will honor its Seniors and their parents, too!

Saturday, December 16: 2:30 pm. Our Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams host Milford. JV's tip at 1:00 pm, followed by Girls Varsity at 2:30 and Boys Varsity at 4:15. We are inviting any member of the 1966-67 basketball team to join us for that event and we would like to recognize you between the girls and boys games (approximately 4pm). We love to connect our past and our present and we would love to host those that completed in this gym in it's first year as we celebrate our current team in our last year of varsity events in the gym!

As always, a special invitation to ANY and ALL Ashland-Greenwood Alumni to join us on December 14 and/or December 16 as we celebrate and remember all the great events in the High School gym!

Registration for the alumni tournament is now open! As we’ve done in the past, we will take registrations in the order we receive them and will cap the tournament at 36 teams.

Online payment will not be enabled until 2 weeks before the tournament and we will strongly encourage that everyone pay online beforehand as we plan to modify the check-in process we’ve had in the past. There will be no raffle tickets sold either.

Due to the economic impact of Covid-19 on small businesses, we’re going to limit our sponsorship outreach this year. That said, if anyone is still interested in sponsoring, please have them reach out. Due to an expected dip in sponsorships, pin and payout prizes will also be limited.

Also, there will be social distancing measures put in place by Ashland Golf Club this year, specifically as it relates to the number of people allowed in the clubhouse. We will provide more details in the coming weeks, but the post-tournament events will likely be much more limited than in the past.

AGHS Alumni Golf Tournament Update: We’re still planning on holding the Alumni Golf Tournament on July 17th at AGC. As of right now, we’re tentatively planning on opening up registration on or around June 1st which will allow us to monitor the situation with the virus in the coming weeks and what it might mean for the event. Stay tuned for updates!

2020 Alumni Basketball Registration is now open! We encourage as many of you as possible to sign up and take part in this year's event. A few details below:

-Date: Saturday, March 28th

-Where: AGHS (main gym and MPR)

-Who: All AGHS Alumni and current faculty members

-Cost: $25 which includes t-shirt and free appetizers at Parker’s on Saturday night

-Games: Game length will be determined by number of teams. We want to play enough basketball, but not too much. (Last year we played 2 – 15 minute halves)
