Little Gnomes Nature School A nature immersion school program inspired by Waldorf edition for children ages 3-6, at and in partnership with
the North Mountain Park Nature Center.

Little Gnomes Nature School is a fully outdoor school program for children ages 3 to 6 years at North Mountain Park Nature Center in Ashland, OR. Our program blends the nature immersion model with Waldorf early childhood philosophy. Traditional songs, ring games, stories and crafts tailored to the outdoor experience will shape our days, while child-driven inquiry and exploration of the natural wor

ld will guide our free play and inspire our curriculum and activities. Little Gnomes Nature School provides children with the opportunity to fully engage all of their senses with the natural world through the seasons in the diverse and inviting setting at North Mountain Park. Our program will build physical strength and coordination and foster confidence, imaginative play, environmental knowledge, and a deep and lasting heart connection to nature. Our school days will happen throughout the year in all weather, which will require a commitment from families to support the children with a positive attitude and the right gear.

Hello dear community,
This starts tomorrow. Join us if you like.....

I am excited to announce that I will be hosting a doll making class this fall.
We will get together over six weeks and will make a 16" waldorf style doll. They will have bodies, heads and hair and we'll even make some clothes.
Classes will be on Tuesday nights 6-8pm (perhaps a little longer at times) and we will meet at Lithia Loft, 144 Lithia Way.
Dates are November 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5 & 12.
Fee for the class is $120 which includes instructions, doll skin material, wool for stuffing and clothing material. There will be a small extra charge for doll hair.
It's incredibly fun to learn how to make these beautiful dolls which are loved by girls and boys alike and a wonderful gift to give for the upcoming holiday season.
Tell a friend about this class if you like. Also, if crafty dads would like to attend instead of mamas they are more than welcome to.
