The RMC Honors Program welcomes Dr. Nadhira Hill ('16) as the Associate Director of the Honors Program. Dr. Hill joined RMC in 2024 and is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Fellow, Assistant Professor of Classical Studies and Archaeology, and Director of Archaeological Studies. She is also the recipient of the 2024 Art Conway Award for Enthusiasm for Teaching. Welcome Dr. Hill!

The Honors Program is back open and excited for the new school year!
We will be in touch with a full events schedule soon, but we wanted to let you know that there will be an event tomorrow that counts for Engagement Credit for the program. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities in the town of Ashland, this one is for you! The event will occur from noon-1 pm in Andrews Multipurpose room. Hope to see you there!

The Honors Program is pleased to announce our 2025-2026 Honors FOCUS topic – Resilience, and our Honors Common Read, The Dissident: Alexey Navaly: Profile of a Political Prisoner by David M. Herszenhorn. We are also delighted to announce that our official Honors FOCUS speaker will be Vladimir Kara-Murza, the Russian politician, activist, and political prisoner who was sentenced to 25 years in a Siberian prison for and released in 2024 as part of a prisoner exchange deal. Mr. Kara-Murza will be the 2025 Watkins speaker, and will be on campus on Thursday, November 6, 2025. His talk is sponsored by the Watkins endowment and CASE.
