Convergence - A High School Youth Theology Institute on Faith and Science An RMC summer camp experience for high school youth seeking to explore Christian faith & science.

Young people often hear that what they read in the Bible and learn in church has nothing to do with what they study in science classes – or they’re told religion and science are always in conflict with each other. At Randolph-Macon College, we explore the convergence of faith and science. We are excited to offer an 11-day experience on-campus for high school youth who want to discover the realm wh

ere faith and science meet. Join us June 22-July 2 as Randolph-Macon College and Union Presbyterian Seminary faculty lead you in exploring such topics as The Origin of the Universe, Stewardship of the Earth, and Non-Western Religious Voices on Science.

It's hard to believe our final day of Convergence 2025 is complete. What a marvelous group of middle and high schoolers along with a talented college student staff! Today we visited the Hanover Interfaith Free Clinics, got an amazing tour of the RMC nursing building, heard from an RMC alumnus who is a hospital chaplain, led bingo at the Ashland Nursing Home along with volunteers from Duncan Memorial UMC, and more. In our free time, we enjoyed lots of games and laughter too!
