Congrats to our recent graduates of Ashland Theological Seminary! About 60 graduates spanning 11 different academic programs celebrated the completion of their studies during a ceremony held at AU's Convocation Center.

On Saturday, we gathered to celebrate a milestone in the lives of our graduates—a day full of joy, worship, and deep gratitude. These men and women have spent years preparing to serve the Church and the world, and now they go forward equipped as modern-day disciples.

Preaching Through Hebrews - Ashland Theological Seminary This full-day event brings together pastors and other Christian leaders to ponder both the message and the example of one of our earliest Christian sermons, the “Letter to the Hebrews.”

Join us on Friday, April 25th, for a full-day event led by David A. deSilva, Ph.D., trustees' distinguished professor of New Testament and Greek.

Through four presentations, participants will delve into the text's historical and pastoral backdrop, gain insight into the author’s role as a “master preacher,” unravel the culturally rooted logic of honor and reciprocity shaping Hebrews’ expositions and exhortations, and discover how its methods and message can be meaningfully applied today.

Exciting news to report: The Ashland Theological Seminary has received a grant of approximately $2.4 million from Lilly Endowment, Inc., through its Ministry in Rural Areas and Small Towns Initiative. This grant, divided into pre-seminary programming, seminary-based programming and programming that goes beyond the seminary, hopes to increase youth retention in churches, improve accessibility to theological education and enhance support for church leaders in rural and small town contexts.
