Gregory Oliver Hines was an American dancer, actor, choreographer, and singer. He is one of the most celebrated tap dancers of all time, and is best known for The Cotton Club, Running Scared, and The Gregory Hines Show. Hines starred in more than forty films and also made his mark on Broadway during his lifetime.
