We are looking forward to new students arriving this weekend! A number of students playing sports have arrived already. We are excited to welcome the entire class of first-year and transfer students!

Wednesday, February 17 at noon in Wheeler Chapel (4th floor) there will be a brief Ash Wednesday service.

It is part of the Christian tradition, but all are welcome to reflect on life. We will also commemorate Black History Month.

Ruth will lead the service and place ashes on foreheads as reminder of our human reality: "From dust to dust."

Ashes are a combination of traditional palm as well as ground redwood trees.

Welcome back! I hope that you all are enjoying your time back on campus. I wanted to let everyone know that we’ll be starting Multicultural Club again. We will be meeting today (1/25) at 7pm in the new Diversity Center. If you do not know where it’s located; it is behind the CSE if you’re coming from the Wheeler bridge.

The Multicultural Club will be meeting tonight (Thursday, Nov. 19) at 5pm in the new Diversity Center. It is the house with the big porch located across the driveway from the CSE.

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Diversity Center have moved to the new space. Go check it out.
