Little Blessings has a new and exciting way to go on adventures. We are able to explore area parks and go on many nature expeditions. Our new Bunch bike holds up to seven children comfortably and safely with their 3-point seat belt safety feature.
I took a couple of my grandchildren out for an adventure on the bike path and we explored several parks that day and had so much fun!!

We are so excited that we received our Usborne book order. The kids love our story time and really immerse themselves into the books. Thank you Ashley Stalvig for your help ordering these awesome books!!!

We loved learning about the life cycle of a butterfly! The children learned about Metamorphosis and seen each stage of the life cycle. The children named each butterfly as we released them...Buddy the butterfly, Daisy the butterfly, and Princess the butterfly.

We are learning about the life cylce of a butterfly. The life cycle is a great way to show children how things grow and change into something different. From eggs to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly....children begin to see how a life cycle works. This week our three butterflies emerged form their chrysalis. It was a spectacular event!! This was the release of our first butterfly that emerged from it's chrysalis.

Today we are learning about nectar and how the bees transfer the nectar into the cells of the hive. This was a big hit for the children, they loved using the eyedroppers to transfer the nectar to the cells. This activity promotes hand eye coordination, fine motor, and life science.

This Month's Discovery Activities are Bee's and Butterflies! We are learning about Honey Bee's in our 1st week, where they live, their life cycle from their start as eggs (babies) to working bee's.

It was a busy weekend transforming our dramatic play area over to match our "Blast Off To Space" theme and hanging up our version of the solar system. At least one that can fit in our preschool space. A few more touches and we should be ready to go. Now on to a secret recipe for moon sand. I'm so excited!!!

Hello friends, I just wanted to share some pics of my finished space. Although I add and change educational toys and materials this is my finished daycare space. The children have really enjoyed themselves in these different learning centers.
