2025-2026 Honors Algebra I Families: Calculator Update :) Calculators are on sale at Amazon.com, Target.com, and Walmart.com. The TI-84 Plus and the TI-84 Plus CE are both on sale. The TI-84 Plus CE (color edition) shows graphs and shading in color and has a rechargeable battery which is very nice. Students often charge them in my charging station. I do have a class set of the TI-84 Plus CE which are available to students during class but cannot be taken home. The TI-84 Plus does not show anything in color. Either one is fine. This is the same calculator they will use throughout high school. It is not required for Honors Algebra I, but I highly recommend one if possible. Most students had their own last year. This time of year is the best time to invest in a calculator because of Back to School Sales. I will bring my label maker to school the first week for students to put their name on their calculator.
