Covid 19 Safety Information!

Piano Works Studios has been awarded the Covid 19 Safety Enhancement Grant from the Town of Ashland.
We take the Covid-19 threat very seriously, and the health of our students, teachers, and their families is our highest priority. For face to face lessons, we are allowing 15 minutes between lessons to not only disinfect surfaces, but to air out the entire studio.

We are also only allowing one person besides the teacher into the studio at a time. Masks and hand-washing are required. Our teachers will safely teach from a distance and not share instruments or materials. Virtual online lessons are also available.

The R-MC Concert Choir Concert is this Saturday November 17th at 7:00 pm. The concert will be held at the First Baptist Church In Ashland Va. I am excited to be performing most of the music on piano under the direction of our new director Sherri Matthews. The concert is free and opened to the public.

Piano Works Studios teacher John Anderson is back on Tuesdays! He now has openings for new piano and guitar students. John is a great guy and teaches beginning piano and all levels of acoustic and electric guitar. He is a graduate form Berkeley school of music and enjoys focusing on what the students want to play. Piano Works Studios is now accepting piano and guitar students for the 2018-2019 school year. Located in Ashland's Arts and Cultural Disctrict, Piano Works has been cultivating musicianship in students of all ages in Ashland since 1994.

Studio owner/director Jodie Brill has a degree in piano pedagogy, and teaches not only at the studio, but also teaches piano students at Randolph-Macon College and accompanies the R-MC concert choir. She has also accompanied dance classes for Richmond Ballet and Virginia Commonwealth University.
