GrandFigures Day is Friday, March 20! 🥳 Elementary students are welcome to invite their GrandFigures to join them at school on Friday, March 20, 2026. We understand some of our elementary friends may not have grandparents who are able to attend, therefore we welcome anyone special your student would like to invite. GrandFigures will visit their student’s classroom at a designated time and enjoy a treat with their elementary student.

🔧🎓 Engineering in Action! 🎓🔧

On Thursday, all Southern Boone fourth grade classes traveled to the University of Missouri in Columbia to take part in MU Engineering Week activities.

Students had the opportunity to explore hands-on exhibits and learn about some of the most innovative ideas and technologies shaping the world of engineering. It was an exciting day of discovery, creativity and real-world learning! 🦅❤️🖤

Our APEX Glow Run is tomorrow during specials!

Tips for Glow Run:

#1 Get a good night's sleep.

#2 Stay hydrated. Bring a water bottle.

#3 Eat a light, healthy breakfast.

#4 Wear comfy running shoes.

#5 WEAR NEON OR WHITE!

It is going to be a fun day at the elementary!

Dear Parents,

Today was our Apex Pep Rally kicking off our two-week fundraiser and leadership program! The fundraiser will end with a super fun celebration event on Friday, February 27th.

Our First Challenge: The team that goes up the most in donations tonight will get to have a DONUT PARTY!! 🍩

BONUS: EVERY student that shares their link to at least 5 people TONIGHT will receive the Apex share prize!! (usually earned at 10 shares)

3 Easy Steps:

Money raised will go towards a new playground structure.
