Impromptu photo shoot for their last day of daycare🍋🍋. We will have a get together sometime in the future to celebrate our years together. I will let you know when the family event will take place. Thanks for letting us be in all the kids lives and to help them grow. It’s going to be missed by all💔 I’m so blessed to know all these kiddos and they are going to do great in the world! They are so kind and loving 🥰 Kids are our future and are little pieces of clay to be molded into greatness and they are on their way! ❤️🍀😎

With a sad heart I am closing my daycare as of July 30th. It’s been such a blessing in my life for many years. I’m struggling with my health and I will not have assistants/subs once August comes. I absolutely couldn’t do it without their wonderful help and they all must return to school and school jobs.

If you are thinking about opening home daycare I can certainly help you with questions and I will be selling everything from here. Cots, pack and plays, high chairs, tables and chairs, curriculum, books, toys and more. I have children needing daycare and I get phone calls, texts and messages often of people needing care. Daycare is a blessing and rewarding but it’s also very busy. It’s not “babysitting” it’s hard work and requires much energy and reliability. It’s nice to have subs and assistant so you can always be open for parents so they can work. Hopefully this is speaking to someone special who adores kids and would love to open in Ashland ASAP. Children are so fun to teach and see them discover things, learn and grow. They become your family ❤️ please get in touch if interested in daycare items or opening. Happy to help you with your adventure!

True story. 🌱

‘Perhaps the reason teens isolate themselves when they're overwhelmed instead of coming to us with their problems, is because when they're toddlers we isolate them when they're overwhelmed instead of helping them with their problems.

When our kids are small and trying to manage emotions - they can't express what they are feeling. They throw tantrums, they throw things, they have meltdowns, they scream and they whine. This is their way of communicating with us. They need help to organize, process and express their feelings in a healthy way. And society tells us we should punish them for this. Send them to their room, put them in timeout, s***k them.

We teach them and train them not to show their emotions. Don't whine. Don't complain. Your feelings are wrong. Be quiet. Eventually they stop expressing their emotions to us because we told them over and over again we didn't want to hear it. For so long they needed to deal with it alone. Alone in their room, their chair, their corner.

And then they turn into teenagers and we expect them to feel safe talking to us. We expect them to know that NOW it's okay. They are subconsciously wired to think the opposite because this is what they grew up learning.

Give your child permission to feel. Let them know their feelings are valid and that you care, no matter how small. Make sure they know that they are heard.

Pretty soon meltdowns over crayons will turn into breakups, heartbreak, s*x, or even depression. You want your child to know that you will always hear them, no matter how small. You are their safe space.’
