Help us wish Ty Burkhardt a very happy birthday! 🎂🎸

Ty teaches guitar at both our Williamsburg and Hanover locations and brings plenty of creativity and enthusiasm to his lessons.

And when he’s not making music, you might find him baking a loaf of sourdough bread! 🍞

Happy Birthday, Ty! We’re lucky to have you on the Mosley Music team! 💙

🎵 Musical Fun Fact:
Did you know music wasn’t originally intended to live on paper?

Written notation became essential so music could survive beyond the composer, preserving accuracy across generations, even if a bit of spontaneity was sometimes lost along the way 🎼

It’s because of notation that we’re still able to learn, play, and share music written hundreds of years ago today.

🎶 Why should every child learn music?

Not every child will grow up to be a professional musician—and that’s okay! Music offers so much more than performance skills.

From building confidence and creativity to developing focus, discipline, and teamwork, music can have a lasting impact on a child’s growth both inside and outside the classroom.

We’re breaking down why every child should learn music, even if they never pursue it professionally on our blog. Visit our website to read the full blog and learn more!
