Northland College Student Association (NCSA)

Hello dear friends,

It is a time of enormous emotion for all of us that feels very difficult to articulate. Right now, NCSA's priority is to hold space for community and provide whatever support we can for all students, current and former.

To alumni, we want to support you too and listen to what you have to say. We know it may be difficult to feel these emotions on your own and without the supports available to current students, but please know that we will do our best to hold you from where you are. We feel an enormous amount of gratitude for all those that have come before us and want you all to know we have you in mind with everything that we're doing.

If you have thoughts about the future of NCSA, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Additionally, we will be posting testimonials everyday on Instagram and Facebook and would love to include your voices as well. Please reach out to us with a favorite photo of yourself at Northland and some words about a memory you have of you time here if you are interested in being a part of that.

We will have more updates about events open to Northland and Ashland community members in the future. We are holding you all in our thoughts and sending you much love.

Food Forum — Northland College Student Association Students of SCD 335 Organizing Communities will be hosting an open forum in the Baldwin Commons (more commonly known as the Caf) featuring speakers from Chartwells @ Northland and the Hulings Rice Food Center. 3/25 Northland Hootenanny — Northland College Student Association Come and see musicians Baba Fats ( Apple Music ) and party with your friends at a time-honored Northland tradition: the Hootenanny, returned after a two-year hiatus! Admission is free for all.

Cheers to our alumni volunteers! Next week we welcome four folks to speak on careers in the environmental sciences during Covid-19. From working for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, being a Mint (yes the flavor) technician. We're thrilled to learn more about the impressive careers Northlanders have all over the world. Tune in Wednesday!

Northland students!! Ashland City hall is open for early voting on Saturday!!!!!!! From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm you can stop by City hall to register to vote AND cast your ballot. All you need is a valid Northland ID. If you’re an off campus student, make sure to also bring proof of residency, like a utility bill or bank statement... if you have questions about this, or any other part of the voting process, contact the Clerks office at 715-682-7071.
