Hey everyone! Normal classes and times today.

Kids will be wrestling games and physical challenges all class.

Adults will be an open mat!

Adult BJJ morning classes Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Beginners welcome!

Reminder that we have added a "movement for Grappling" class 530-630 Tuesday evenings.

Reminder to everyone that we offer classes Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday mornings 730-900am.

If the evening class schedule doesn't work with kids, work, and families BigWater has more options!

A reminder that we are now offering a
"Movement for Grappling" class: Tuesdays 530-630pm

This is a low impact class focusing on the body movements common for all grapplers and ending with technique drills related to the current months curriculum. This class is great for everyone from complete beginner to black belts!

The Wisconsin kids Folkstyle wrestling tournament is over.

BigWater sent 6 kids under the BigWater banner (and 2 of our wrestlers competed under another)

We are incredibly proud of EVERY. SINGLE. ONE!!!!

Two girls took second place, one girl took fourth. One boy competed in one of the toughest brackets I've ever seen at a youth tourney (3 matches with a broken finger).

Our other girls wrestled hard, smart, and full of heart. They did so while picking up hard fought wins and losses.

At the end of the day though, I'm happy that I get to say it feels like a privilege to be able to sit in the corner of these wrestlers. They work so hard in practice, trust us with their development, listen during the matches, and believe in a process we preach to them every day.

BigWater family, thank you. This was an incredible year.

Ashland community, if you have kids who want to be part of a rapidly developing local sport - we offer year round instruction for absolute beginners through advanced varsity level kids.

A final note: congratulations to the Bad River wrestling club which offered wrestling to a growing community of young boys and girls and sent a bunch to state this year! All these kids will wrestle together in middle school and high school, we couldn't be more proud!
