🧩 Our Story Begins With Us 💚

The beginning of a new school year is about so much more than learning names and finding our seats. It is about building a classroom family.

Today, our Ed Prep students worked together to create their own puzzle pieces and begin putting together “Our Story.” Each piece is unique, just like each student who walks through our classroom door. But when we bring those pieces together, something beautiful happens—we become a team.

✨ Every student matters.
✨ Every voice has a place.
✨ Every piece helps complete the picture.

As future educators, we want our students to understand from the very beginning that a classroom is made stronger by the differences, talents, experiences, and personalities each person brings.

This is just the beginning of our story, and we can’t wait to see how all of our pieces come together throughout this school year. 💚📚🧩

In Ed Prep, we’re not just preparing to teach—we’re learning how to make every student feel like they belong.

Today the teachers and students were surprised with a special little one!!! Welcome baby!!!!

We had our yearly banquet celebrating our club members and students. We also held the 3rd National Technical Honor Society induction. We are so proud of our students and their wonderful achievements.

Yesterday, our students helped
Celebrate Child Abuse Prevention Month with Mrs. Joyce Terry at the Ashland Park. CTC students learned that the pinwheel represents the joy and healthy development that every child deserves. Students planted pinwheels in the park to celebrate.

Today at the CTC we had recruitment tours for the 9th and 10th graders from Ashland and Hickory Flat. Students were introduced to each pathway and things they will learn if they choose to take classes at the CTC. A huge thank you, to our year 2 students who were chosen to help out with the tour!!!! A special shoutout to Madyson Sanford for also coming and helping with the tour!!! She is a former student who is always willing to help out when asked. 😃😃😃 ’s

No April Fool’s Joke at the CTC on April 1st! Students were able to visit Discovery Park of America on April 1st. Tons of new experiences for our CTC students. Thanks to Mrs. Wooley, our new Ed Prep teacher, for making this happen! ’s
