🌉 Regional Leadership Conference in the Bay Area recap.

This weekend was bigger than just a trip to San Fran. This was an official function with meals, etiquette and values to share/learn.

We showed up to learn, to represent, to bring something back to SOU by learning more about TKE from the members, alumni and volunteers who make this organization work across the country at hundreds of other universities. We took notes on personal growth, how to run a successful chapter, volunteering in the community, and more while networking with other chapters also there! 👔

Huge thank you to Rick Geary — a local who trusted us enough to invest $600 toward this trip after we helped clear snow off his property back in February (see post before this). That support meant everything. Community shows up when you show up first.

Also grateful to Ian’s dad for hosting us for dinner and insisting on paying — and somehow making sure we left with doughnuts too. Generosity runs deep.❤️

From sessions and notes to suits and city views — this weekend reminded us what building something long term actually looks like.

From stuffing bags on the dining table… to handing smiles out on campus 💗

Today our club had the chance to share a little early Valentine’s Day love with our fellow students - one pink bag at a time.

This giveaway was made by students, for students - and it wouldn’t have happened without the local businesses who stepped up to support our campus community.

💝 Valentine Gift Bag Giveaway for SOU Students

Tau Kappa Epsilon club (TKE) is giving out free Valentine gift bags to Southern Oregon University students as a way to celebrate campus community and highlight local Ashland businesses that support students.
Each gift bag includes small surprises and offers from our amazing local partners:

• Louie's one $20 gift card
• Sawaddee Restaurant one $20 gift card
• Einstein Bros. Bagels ten single gift cards for 1 bagel
• Coming Attractions Theatres six local movie tickets
• Britt Music & Arts Festival two digital tickets

Stop by Raider Village, say hello, and grab a bag while supplies last. Not every bag will have one of these items, but every bag will have at least a few cards and chocolates, from us to you!

This is a simple way to show some love to students — and to the local businesses that help make Ashland feel like home. ❤️
