Weekly Update from ACP!

We’ve officially wrapped up Week 2!
Our preschoolers have been fully immersed in “artist studio” focusing on deep concentration through their creative projects. Meanwhile, our toddlers have been busy developing their fine motor skills—from working with stickers to experimenting with painting.

We love watching them learn and explore in so many different ways. Stay tuned for more updates as we head into next week!

Our first week of the summer program is in the books, and we’ve been having an absolute blast!

A lot happened during our two-week break. We had an amazing parent and volunteer work day that helped us tackle a huge chunk of our to-do list—including painting, yard work, and so much more.

We also did a major classroom switch-up and are thrilled to welcome some new friends, ACP alumni, and a number of siblings this summer! Everything feels fresh and new for our preschool and toddler rooms, and we can’t wait for a summer packed with fun crafts and activities.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who helped out with the classroom switch and yard day! We truly couldn't have done it without our incredible community.

As the 2026 school year comes to a close and preparations are underway for our summer program beginning July 6, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated teachers, families, and friends of The Ashfield Community Preschool and Toddler Program. Your continued support and commitment are instrumental in making our preschool a wonderful and nurturing environment.

We know it’s been a minute since we’ve updated our page, but we have been busy learning, growing, and playing! As we wrap up for a two week break June 19-July 5 we will be conducting a classroom swap. We are excited to announce a significant classroom transition. After more than a decade in our current layout, the Toddler and Preschool groups will be swapping spaces. This transition will provide more room to better accommodate our dynamic summer activities.

Looking ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, we have some important enrollment updates for our community:

Preschool Room (starting at age 2.9): We still have a few slots open for the fall! If you are looking for a nurturing, play-based environment for your child to thrive, we would love to welcome you to our family.

Toddler Room (starting at 15 months): Our toddler program is officially full and we do have an active waitlist! Thank you so much to our amazing community for the incredible support!
