AHS and SILSA Work Based Learning

Good Afternoon Teachers,
We’re excited to share a new opportunity for students at Asheville High School and SILSA! Through a partnership with Work-Based Learning and the newly renovated McDonald’s Biltmore Village, students will have the chance to apply for jobs and gain valuable work experience.
On October 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM, representatives from McDonald’s will be on campus, setting up an informational and application table in the cafeteria during all lunch periods. Students can stop by to learn more about available positions and complete job applications on the spot.
With McDonald’s Biltmore Village scheduled to reopen in November, this is a perfect time for students to apply, complete training, and be fully prepared to start work when the doors open.
